PRAISE CHOIR
If you love to worship Jesus and want to be a part of worship ministry at Big Valley Grace, this is a great opportunity to get started! If you a returning worship ministry volunteer who has previously served in choir…welcome back!
Praise Choir leads Big Valley Grace with our musical gifting of singing and with our physical expression of worship. The people of Big Valley Grace should be inspired to worship God when they hear us sing, and when they see us worship!
Praise Choir will serve as a way to unify our church as it provides a way for a broad cross section of people to serve in a variety of contexts. We will be using Praise Choir across all of our gatherings and campuses.
DETAILS
How Often – Praise Choir will lead worship on the third weekend of the month on the Modesto Campus.
Dress – Praise Choir will be following the BVG Worship Dress Style Guide.
Ages – Praise Choir is open to anyone ages 12 and up. Praise Choir participants who are under 18 are not required to be accompanied by an adult, but they must be mature enough to not be a distraction during rehearsals and gatherings. Parental discretion is advised.
Rehearsals & Preparation – Since we will not have a regular mid-week rehearsal, musical preparation for the Praise Choir will happen on your own time. We will be providing digital rehearsal resources two weeks before each scheduled date.
Scheduling & Resources – All scheduling will be handled through Planning Center Services. Planning Center Services is accessible through any web browser or on a mobile device using the Planning Center App, which you can download here:
